You have always been and, it would appear, will always remain a complete puff when it comes to cricket. Look at me? I played cricket for years and it never did me any harm. Apart from a permanently broken finger, and dodgy knees and a back which stiffens up from time to time and a slightly sore shoulder (well I was a bowler, you know, not one of those lazy ass batsmen), and I did get hit on the head a couple of times but I don't think most of my mental problems can be traced back to that, though I do forget things from time to time.....like....er....what were we talking about again?

Mini keg is deffo better. Not sure how much Jack D. you're going to have to add to a 5 litre can though. Quite a bit me thinks.
As for the link on Aluminium, I'm getting a bit worried for you Lucy!

Love the link on aluminium. Lost myself in the map of global aluminium output. Stunned that there's so much of it in Britain, that it's not 'normally' soluble in water. (What does THAT mean?) And mused on your hunch that it's just too 20th century for words - and thus probably on the way out. Coke in mini kegs?

Don't worry.

I'll have to send you the link to the latest scientific report entitled, "Hammering the nail in deeper is not harmful to the human psyche."

It's a blast.

My bloke read about that study and came to me yesterday morning all dismayed. I wish I'd read this post and been able to reassure him because all I did was hammer the nail in deeper. "Well," I said to him. "A recent study says that older women have children with higher IQs, so our kids should just about make the average." It's not often older women have the evolutionary edge on older men. Let us enjoy our little moment of schadenfreude. Lucy
